Open Play Night (OPN)
OPN is different every Thursday! The games, scenes and exercises are determined by the designated leader. Attendee suggestions are welcome. All levels of improv training are invited. Bring your friends!

Advanced Open Improv
Open Play for folks who have received professional training in the basics of improv or have at least one year of improvisational theater experience.

----- Workshops -----

Learning improv is like learning to drive a car (well, sort of). For those of you who want to take improv out for a spin, but never have before, this starter class is for you. We begin with a tour of the vehicle.

From 1st gear to 2nd gear, we gain momentum as we delve a little deeper into as many aspects of improv as we have time for. Acceptance, characters and relationships are just a few topics we'll look at. Students should have taken 1st Gear, but it's not necessary.

Coaching Salons
One of the many great things about improv is that you can get coached (by experienced improv instructors from the local area). Improv should be treated like a sport. Let's be better at what we do!

STAND-UP COMEDY - 1st to 4th Gears
This workshop will teach you how to find material, write jokes, construct a set for open mics, and give you your very own showcase! The four week course is an orientation to the world of stand-up comedy, drawing similarities and differences from the world of improv comedy, bestowing upon you all the tools you need to hold your own in the stand-up scene.

Sign up for these and other improv opportunities through the BIC Meetup site. If we're full, please join the waiting list and check it often.
